CPD Action Endorses Progressive Candidates in Delaware

Brooklyn, NY -- Today, the Center for Popular Democracy Action (CPD Action)—a national network of more than 50 community organizing groups across the country—announced their endorsement of Shané Darby and Coby Owens for Wilmington, Delaware’s city council. 

The network has committed to building power in local and state races across the country. The pathway to remove Trump from office and scrub his legacy of hateful policies starts on the ground following the lead of progressive champions like our partners, Delaware Alliance for Community Advancement. 

CPD Action Endorses Progressive Candidates in Florida

Trump Moves to Evade DACA, We Will Move to Vote Him Out

Brooklyn, New York -- Yesterday, the Trump administration issued a memorandum laying the groundwork for eliminating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The memorandum instructs the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to reject initial DACA applications and limit DACA renewals to one year instead of two years, among other provisions. In response, the Center for Popular Democracy Action released the following statement from Co-Executive Director, Ana Maria Archila.
